Oweda Irene Few, age 96, of Albion, Michigan passed away peacefully at her home on July 17, 2026. She was born in Morgan County, Missouri on August 2, 1929, to Thomas Wayman Cypert and Lucycill McGhee.
Oweda met her husband, William (Bill) Few, when she was 12 years old when he was home on leave. Over the years, he would visit where she worked and they fell in love. They dated for three years and married on June 12, 1948.
Their first son, William Dennis Few, was born June 7, 1951. Then a daughter was born December 22, 1953, and a second son was born September 3, 1953. They made their home in Albion where Bill was raised.
She leaves behind her son, Douglas Lee Few and his wife, Rita, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bill Few, son, William Dennis Few, daughter, Susan Few, and four brothers and four sisters.
