

He was passionate about restoring old cars and was a member of the Model A Club of America. He was also an avid hunter. Dickie was a great Euchre player. He loved taking walks around their land with his late wife, Eileen. He also liked to travel with his family on annual summer vacations and to Florida with his wife. Always eager to excited to see his grandchildren.
Dickie was involved in the United States Army Reserves from 1956 - 1963. After returning home, he became a millwright working at various factories around Albion before working at Post Cereal in Battle Creek, MI where he retired in 1993.
Richard is survived by his children; Tod Marks, Rod Marks, and Shane Marks; sister, Joan Hoag, sister-in-law, Elaine Justice; grandchildren, Joseph, Richard, Allyssa, Nia, Jordan, Myra, Russell (Maddie), Kayla, Alexis, as well as, 5 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Eileen Marks; son, Craig Marks; parents, Richard and Nellie Marks; and brother, Fred Marks.
A visitation for Richard will be held Monday, July 31, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr., Albion, MI 49224, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM.
