Richie Lynne Harris

Richie Lynne Harris, age 70, peacefully passed away on May 11, 2026, at McLaren Oakland Hospital in Pontiac. Richie was born on Wednesday, July 13, 1955, at Sheldon Manner Hospital in Albion to her loving parents, Annie Pearl Baker and Samuel Lovingood Gilmore.

Richie dedicated many years of service to the Pontiac community. She worked for the City of Pontiac for over a decade and later faithfully served as a court recorder at the 50th District Court for more than 12 years. Her professionalism, commitment, and kindness left a lasting impression on all who worked alongside her.

Richie enjoyed listening to worship music and attending church services. She cherished spending time with her loved ones and was always thinking of ways to bring joy to children through her business. Her caring spirit, faith, and passion for making others smile will be remembered by all who knew and loved her. Richie’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family, friends, coworkers, and all whose lives she touched. Like a sunset, your life brought light, color, and quiet wonder. Each sunset will remind us that you are now resting peacefully, beautifully, in remembrance of all the love you have.

Surviving relatives: (brother) Stanford Baker, (daughter) Sonya Jackson, (son) Brandon Harris-Warnsley, (grandchild) Jasmine Brown, Brittany Brown, and Gianna Harris, (great-grandchild) Rayna Brown and Bryce Sharp.

Richie will be laid to rest on June 4th, 2026, at 2:00PM at Albion Memory Gardens, 26905 B-Drive S, Albion, MI 49224.
