Rita June Few, age 70, of Albion, Michigan, passed away on October 14, 2026. Born July 16, 1956, in Albion, MI, she was the daughter of Robert and Eris Rose (McFeters) Bieskie, who preceded her in death.
Rita graduated from Albion Public Schools and devoted 27 years of steady, hard work at Albion McDonald's—years that reflected her resilience and the quiet strength with which she spent her life day after day.
On September 10, 1983, Rita married Douglas Few in Albion. In 1989, their family was blessed with the birth of their daughter, Ashlee Few.
Rita found deep joy in the simple, lasting comforts of home and family. She loved traveling up north to the family cabin in Hale, MI, cherished time with those she held dear, and delighted in playing with her cats. She also enjoyed bowling, a pastime woven into her life in a special way—she and her husband Doug first met at the bowling alley.
Rita is survived by her husband, Doug; her daughter, Ashlee; her sisters, Susie Michael and Paula Wiel; and several nieces and nephews. Remembered with affection and gratitude, Rita was beloved by those who knew her, and her presence will be deeply missed.
According to Rita’s wishes, cremation will take place and there are no services scheduled at this time.
