Savannah Marie Morgan England age 23 passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. She was born April 8, 1998 in Marshall, MI the daughter of Charles Russell Morgan and Lora England. Her father preceded her in death.
Savannah, known by everyone as “Sassy”, was full of life. She loved her family and friends dearly. She loved playing softball, soccer, being on the water, kayaking, playing cards and was known as the puzzle master. She was an avid animal lover who would rescue and foster many animals and loved traveling, planning to visit all 50 states in the future but would enjoy weekend road trips closer to home as well. She also was quite the photographer and loved taking pictures.
Savannah worked and managed the Lamplighter in Olivet and will be missed by all who were lucky enough to meet her there over the last 5 years. She had just purchased her first home and had so many plans for her future with the love of her life, Arthur Barber along with her two dogs, Apollo and Yukon.
Savannah was the light in the lives of many, especially her family and close friends. She especially loved spending time with her close family, cousins and her cousin’s children.
In addition to her partner, Arthur, she leaves to cherish her memory her parents, Lora and Andy McGibbon, siblings: Brittany England, Gunner McGibbon, Cody England, Grace McGibbon, grandparents: Yvonne Morgan, Calbert and LouAnn England and Bill and Carol McGibbon and numerous extended family and friends.
In honor of Savannah, please come to the "Sass Bash" to celebrate her life. It will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 19301 G. Dr. N, Marshall, MI beginning at 2PM. Sass Bash is a time for us all to come together over good food and cold Budweiser to share stories in her memory and love in a time where we all need it most. We have a responsibility to celebrate in a way that would make Savannah proud. A couple events are taking place to honor her throughout the day and into the night including a video diary of memories, and a lantern/balloon send off. A dish to pass is welcomed, but not required. BYOB. Instead of flowers, it’s requested to make a donation of dog toys to her two fur babies Apollo and Yukon, or towards your local animal shelter. There will be an assortment of other activities like a pool to swim in, beach volleyball, cornhole, and more. Whether it’s just a pop in or you’re with us all day, we hope to see all of the people Savannah made her mark on.
The family is being served by J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, Albion, MI. To leave online messages of condolence, please visit www.kevintiddfuneralhome.com
