Terry graduated from Homer High School in 1976. He went on to serve his country in the United States Navy. Terry enjoyed his work as a diesel mechanic and spent the last couple of years driving semi-truck. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all he loved to tell a good story.
Terry is survived by his brothers, Mark Hobus of Jackson, MI and Dennis Hobus of Tulsa, OK; niece and nephew, Emma and Marshall Hobus, and many cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Meta Hobus and wives, Lynn Hobus and Jill Hobus.
Services for Terry will be held on October 24, 2026, at Caring Community Church, 1015 Irwin Ave., Albion, MI 49224. Visitation will take place from 10:00AM – 11:00AM with a memorial service to follow at 11:00AM. The family would like to invite guests to join them for a luncheon at the church following services.
Memorial contributions can be made in Terry’s memory to Caring Community Church or Henry Ford Hospice Home.
