I remember meeting you 55 years ago. You were one of the first people I met when I came to the United States. You made me feel warm and welcome. I will never forget that and over the years I always enjoyed talking to you even though it was over the phone. I am deeply sadden and I will miss you. Bob on Christmas morning I sat and cried quite a bit remembering our very first Christmas back in 1957. I remember there being a lot of commotion downstairs in my mom's house in Maple Shade, N.J. I went out of my bedroom and looked down the stairs and there you were with this gorgeous Lane Cherry Wood Cedar Chest which you had bought me for a Christmas present. You had a big red bow on it and a big and beautiful Christmas Card which was full of love for me in it. This of course was 2 mos. away from our Wedding date which we were very anxiously waiting for. I can still see this tall, slender, blond hair, blue eyed , and very handsome fellow standing at the foot of the stairs looking up at me with a beautiful smile on his face and with such excitement and love in his eyes. Bob as a very gently man love his wife & children with all his heart, we will miss you Bob.

Bob was one of my favorite people. He always made me chuckle, especially when talking about you, June, saying, "Yeah, she's a real peach." We loved Bob and our love continues with you, June.

I remember when I was a kid we would go visit the Brigg's.... I was about 5 or 6 and I remember Bob getting down in the floor with me and we would play with these really old matchbox cars that he had... That was almost 40 years ago.... I always looked up to him.... He was a man of his word and he will be greatly missed.

My dear husband this was you and me last Christmas at our Clubhouse Party. We had such a nice time that evening and met many new people at Pine Ridge. I was looking forward to doing it again this year. I now will be facing Christmas for the first time since I was 16 without you. Bob you were my Christmas everyday of the year for 58 yrs. You always made me feel very loved and very special. I miss you so much and Christmas can never be the same without you my love. Yours Forever and through out all eternity.

Bob was a good brother to me and a terrific son to my parents and for that he will always have a special place in my heart.  Although he was not a wealthy man he shared and was generous with what ever he did have. Bob you have earned a pleasant and rewarding heavenly journey.

I have known Bob for the better part of a half-century, from a young man to a bona-fide senior citizen.  And always, there was a wonderful smile and time for anyone who needed to talk.  Most of all, I remember how much, how dearly and how truly he love June.  He will be missed.

Bob, our family will miss you, both June And you meant a lot to us. We were blessed to have you part our  lives at church, in  choir, which we enjoyed so much. Also the times we had visiting at your house , little David loved spending time with Bob talking about  baseball, watching games together. My parents Don and Jamie you both were part of each other lives, can't thank you enough for all the time you shared with my father in the hospital, at home where my mom took care of him and you both made sure you came and visited them both, my dad loved Bob, loved being around you both, when my dad passed away, even in distance you both continued to talk with my mom, and me, thanks so much. Bob is with God and my dad, cheering us on, hold on I'm here for you , watching over you.  Keep your eyes on Christ , his your comfort, peace, strength. Thanks again from our whole family.

The thing I will both remember and miss most about my Uncle Bob is the sound of his voice, and especially his laughter.  He loved to talk and tell stories, and when something funny happened, the sound of his laugh would fill the whole room.  It couldn't help but make everyone else laugh with him.  And his definitions when playing The Dictionary Game...well, they were priceless.  He was a loving and devoted uncle, and despite never living close by, I'm lucky to have had many chances to visit and memories to keep.

Willie and I just want to give thanks to God just for knowing such a kind man. He helped & allowed his wife to do such kind things for others freely. We will never forget having worship service with them. He definitely will be missed.

I didn't know Bob as well as I do June but he was always so friendly and kind. He had a smile on his face everytime I saw him no matter what trials they were going through. The love that you two shared was such a comfort to me when my husband, Jim, passed away. I heard so many people complaining about their spouses and I found so much comfort with June because she only talked about how much she loved Bob and I know as much as it hurts to lose him she's also got the comfort of knowing that they will be together again someday. I pray for you and your family daily and hope that your special memories will give you comfort and peace.

Grandpa,
I am taking this moment to tell you how much you will be missed, greatly so. Your presence could always be felt in a room, whether you said a word or not all knew you were there listening. I have enjoyed getting to know you and grandma on our visits, how the minutes would turn into hours, and the conversations would lead you to smile for days. We especially loved your since of humor, and your faithfulness to June! We are also so glad we could come over and have lunch with you and June after you moved back to Florida, and share some wonderful laughs and spend that time together! June, even though Bob is not with you in person, he is with you in spirit, and most of all the presence of the Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.
