Donna Rae Olson, 89, a longtime resident of Ames, went to be with her Savior on July 21, 2023, from Accura Healthcare of Ames. Services will be held at Stevens Memorial Chapel on Monday, July 31st at 11:00 AM with a visitation starting at 10:00 AM. Burial of ashes will take place at the Mineral Ridge Cemetery in Boone, Iowa following the service.
Donna was born to R. Earl and Fay Olson on January 5, 1934. She cherished her niece and nephews and was blessed to live in a connecting duplex with one nephew, Troy, and Alicia Dowden and family, for the past 17 years before entering Accura due to failing health.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sister, Nancy (Jack) Dowden of Walker, Michigan; a niece and four nephews.
