I Love you mom!! Not a day goes by when I don't miss you. I know I'll be seeing you again, so until then , you are always in my thoughts, prayers.

I will always remember her as a very sweet lady. She did ceramics and made me a beautiful unicorn which I still have today. She was the best cook imaginable. She had a loving warm heart and will be missed by many. Prayers to her family.

I always loved going to Grandma’s Nevada house and seeing all the cool things she had and getting to eat her delicious rolls. She was so kind and loving and it was a great day when we got to go visit. Love you, Grandma.

I can hardly believe my beloved grandma is really gone. I have had her in my life for thirty six years, her passing shortly after my birthday. I talked to my grandma nearly every night on the phone. She was like my counselor. I could talk to her about things most people scoffed at, and never got to thank her for that. I frequent the local library and am going to miss getting her free craft and sewing magazines. I nearly went to get one for her the other day, then remembered that she is no longer here. One thing that brings comfort to us all is that she is now with my grandpa who passed when I was still a teenager. My grandma and grandpa were soul mates being very different personality types but having a huge love for one another that is almost reminiscent of the couple in the movie the Notebook. Grandma I am sorry you never got to see me find that love or reach some other things I knew you prayed over, but my hope is that when these things come, maybe God will let you see down for just a fraction of time and smile down at me. I didn't tell you a lot because you were not the sentimental type, but I love you grandma. I will miss you always. 

Most Amazing mom ever. Mom was hard working, great baker, homeade bread, buns ,cinamon rolls, jelly rolls, kringla anything homeade, she made the best!!  Mom worked for Story County as a custodian, she took great pride in her work. She could strip and wax floors, made it look easy, and I know it wasnt. Mom was a great at listening,if you didnt want an honest answer, dont ask her!  I remember when we were young , mom and dad always had  helping hands, taking in   people who needed somewhere to stay somewhere for a good meal. Our place was great place to come, after church, we had a houseful many Sundays. I have many memories of my mom to share,so many I could write a book! Thank You Mom for many happy memories! Im sure going to miss you!


     Thank you and dad for our fundamental biblical upbringing.  
     You were a good listener for us all these years and will be missed. 
     Mom was a talented crafter and was still making stocking caps for infants. 


You will be missed by all of us  Mom! You are with Dad now as we join your ashes on Monday we remember the foundation you built for us and that this isn’t the end!As I look at the stars tonight I will think of you and smile.

Dear Cousins and Uncle Bob - we are sorry to hear about Aunt Edna’s death. We know she had been having health issues for some time, but the death of a parent is always a shock. Take care of yourselves. We’re sorry we’ll be out of town on our way to Alec’s in Colorado on Monday.
