Bill was a neighbor of ours for a long time. His knowledge was endless, and he taught us a lot about cattle and horses all that time ago. He was the friendliest man around, and always had the best fruits and veggies and was the first one to share them with his neighbors. Bill was always very kind to us and our family, and we cherished him as a neighbor and friend. We will remember and treasure his memory always.

I will always be grateful to Bill for making my grandmother so happy. He was a lovely man and I enjoyed every minute I was privileged to spend with him.

You have my deepest sympathy on the death of your father. He and my dad, Don Fitzgerald, were first cousins and enjoyed many happy times together as young men and later as "mature" gentlemen. Bill was a generous, thoughtful man who left this world a better place for his having been here. He will be missed by all of us who had the pleasure of knowing him.

I remember Bill taking me with his family to the Iowa state Fair many years ago. I was so excited as I had never gone. It was a fun day of checking out the animals, eating Fair food & best of all taking us on the Midway. Bill was a great & thoughtful cousin. He wil be missed!
