Joanie was a wonderful neighbor. We'd see her when she'd walk her beloved doggies. I think she knew everyone on the block and always had amazing positive energy to share. Although I didn't know her well, through the years of sidewalk chats I realized what a kind- hearted, fun-loving, independent- minded, spirited woman she was. Our family will miss her dearly. We send our sincere condolences to her family (she often talked about you with great pride and love).
With deep sympathy for your great loss,
Maura, Nick and Meira

My words can never express how much this lovely lady loved, taught, and mostly empowered every young lady and young men she ever came across. She will be missed by all and I have a very big part of my heart that will be greatful for everything she done for me and I will never forget what she done for me Love you to the moon and back Momma Joanie

My Momma. The strongest willed woman that i shall have ever known.. She loved her family and always put us first..She was an awesome Grandma. Showed compassion as she also cared for her Momma also...A loving loyal wife . She adored her furbabies and loved her kids above and beyond...A strong willed woman all in all...❤️She loved family time and always was greatly loved by our Stepdad and they had a great life with fun memories to also hold near and dear. Her courage her strength and all she stood for and fought for in this life has a real powerful meaning and we made promises and had real life talks... about what was and what is to be...She will be greatly missed and her powerful outlook on life and willpower will carried on by her loved ones... Until we meet again..Enjoy being pain free Mom and enjoy Paradise.. You deserve it 🙏🏽❤️ See you later on Mom.... No lose ends.. as we said..We will make you happy.......Amen
