What started out many years ago, as a chance encounter with Kathy turned into significant life changes. While in college, 4 hours drives from Minnesota to Iowa began where I was first introduced and accepted into her family. This connection has led my Iowa born husband and me to adopt a great niece and one great nephew of hers. Kathy and I mostly parted ways when my cat allergy was revealed and a decision needed to be made. Cats won, paws down.
During my last visit with conscious Kathy , recognition shown in her eyes as she connected me with a dear friend from long ago. Knowing Kathy has enhanced my life experiences. She holds a fountain of great memories in my mind and love always in my heart.
