I recently was made aware of Bob's death. I am so sorry to hear of it Wanda. I remember Bob being a diligent servant of Christ, always on the alert for ways to point others to Him. I hope you will feel the nearness and comfort of Christ in the coming days. Jack and I will always be grateful that Bob was the first to suggest that Jack should remarry. Bob was happy that he had done the same!

My brother Darrald Carr worked for Bob at Fareway in Maquoketa, Ia. Darrarld passed away about a year ago, and I know he would have been saddened to hear this. To all of Bob's family I am sending my deepest sympathy from Darrald and the Carr family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Fred, I just learned of the passing of your father Bob, My sympathy to you and your entire family. My Dad passed in 2011 and I know how difficult it is. There is no one like your Dad! Especially one that was as supportive of his kids as he was. Know you are in my prayers. Please pass my sympathy on to brothers Mark and Jim. JM

Thoughts and prayers for family and friends. So sorry for your loss. Bob was the epitome of a true Christian. When he was in Maquoketa years ago I believe we may have gone hungry at times if it weren’t for his kindness. He would take meat trimmings and less desirable cuts and mark down to help us out. We in return would give him vegetables from our garden. I’m sure he did this for far more people than anyone knew about. He was a truly good man.
I know he’ll be missed by all.♥️
