Ronald was born on March 18, 1937 in Calexico, California to Stanley E and Anna P (Shipman) Stanfield. He graduated from Humboldt College in Eureka, California. He was united in marriage to Sherry Ann Newell on April 11, 1981 in San Mateo, California. He was a purchasing manager for Georgia Pacific. Ronald loved to play golf.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, nine brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Sherry; three sons, Ron Jr., Dennis and Edward; two daughters, Julie and Kelly; brother Don; granddaughters, Sadie and Suny; great grandson, Billy, and his great-great grandchildren.
