As a "cousin-in-law" to Roy, I would like to extend my sympathy to Carol and the family in Roy's passing. He was a kind and gentle man and I remember him from some Schuldt cousin reunions.

Thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time of loss.

I had the sweet pleasure of getting to know Roy (and Carol) while assisting them in updating their town home. Immediately, Roy reminded me of my Dad with his kind heart and gentle smile. He was such a loving soul. I'm going to miss him terribly. I'm extremely saddened by the news of his passing but have peace that he is with God. My thoughts and prayers continue for Carol and family as they mourn the loss of such a wonderful man.

Roy and I were graduate students and eventually faculty members together. He was a good friend who will be greatly missed. I recall him as being the first to advance the idea of establishing the Computer Engineering Curriculum at Iowa State, and it has become one of the most popular ISU programs.

Carol, how saddened I am with this news. Roy was chair of the church council when we were first here, and that's the way I have seen him. May our loving Lord hold you and your family close to his heart and be assurance to you. Bob Farr

Carol: I've jus been down to the lobby of the Towers here and saw the notice of Roy's passing.. What a shock! I had not known he was suffering in any way.

Roy was a favorite cousin of my father, M. Warren Griffin. They had some great times together growing up. We are all quite proud of all Roy's accomplishments in his life. He was a giver. Our thoughts are with Carol & family. Gary & Kris Griffin
