Ursula and Fred were my next door neighbors growing up in Ames. We kept in touch over the years. They were always there and a big help when my Father passed away. Ursula was always charming and a pleasure to talk with. I will miss her.

Ursula was my dear and loving friend for almost thirty years and it was with great sadness that I said goodbye to her the day before she died. It has been an honor to have known her and i will always be grateful for her friendship. Lux aeterna luceat eam.

Ursula Smith was a valued and respected colleague of mine in the French section of the Department of Foreign/World Languages for thirty-some years. I miss her bright, rapid steps in the hall outside my office door.

Mrs. Smith taught us French and World History at United Community High School(near Boone) in the 60's. I will always remember her gracious ways & dignified manner, and can still recite some of the poems and songs she taught us. A very fine woman indeed.
