Alison Leslie Davidson

February 24, 1977 – March 28, 2026
Obituary of Alison Leslie Davidson
IN THE CARE OF

Apex Funeral Home

With deep sorrow we announce the passing of Alison Leslie (Arnold) Davidson, 49, of Holly Springs, NC. Alison left this life on March 28, 2026, after a decades long battle with autoimmune disease and other health issues. She fought like a warrior.

She is survived by her husband Michael, father Andy Arnold, mother Eileen (Baird) Arnold, and brothers Alex and Sean Arnold. She will be deeply missed by her stepmother Sue, mother-in-law, Karen, Michael’s siblings, many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.

Born on February 24,1977 in Madison, Wisconsin, Alison grew up in Wauwatosa and graduated from Wauwatosa West High School in 1995. She then attended the University of Wisconsin Madison, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1999. She started her career as a nurse in the Emergency Department at the UW Health University Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. Alison then followed her desire to become a Physician Assistant by moving to North Carolina where she graduated from Duke University with a Master of Health Sciences Physical Assistant degree.

Alison practiced for several years as a Physician Assistant in the Cardiology field until health issues made that no longer possible. Even in the midst of her own battles, she continued to use her knowledge of traditional and alternative medicine to help others who were dealing with health issues.

Alison and Michael had their first date on November 25th, 2007, and were inseparable ever since. She enjoyed playing volleyball, racquetball, boating, and snow skiing. She loved the Wisconsin Badgers and Green Bay Packers. Alison also loved animals — from bulldogs to chiweenies, yorkies, and horses.

Alison was a disciple of Yahshua the Messiah, a devoted wife, a loving daughter and sister, a compassionate caregiver, a loyal friend, a relentless pursuer of truth, and a sharer of the gospel. As a Torah-pursuant Christian, Alison loved the Sabbath and keeping the biblical feasts with her extended spiritual family.

Alison had an unforgettable smile and infectious laugh that could brighten rooms and lift spirits. She touched countless lives in many ways, both big and small. The impact she had on those around her is a lasting testimony to her unbreakable spirit, faith in her Creator, and the confidence she placed in her Savior Yahshua.

Close friends and family will gather to celebrate Alison’s life at a private gathering on April 26th.
