Amanda was born February 14, 1983 in Worcester, MA. She was a graduate of Northbridge High School and Worcester State College. She was married to Atul Khanna in 2010 and had a beautiful baby boy in 2014.
Amanda had many roles in her life, an awesome daughter, great friend, smart professional, loving & dedicated wife, to name a few but above all she cherished being a loving mother who wanted to be the world to her son. She loved painting for herself and for her son, she would spend a lot of time sketching, doing crafts with and reading stories to her son Deven. Mandy, as she wanted people to call her, was a warrior. She fought everyday for 20 years with a terminal disease and beat it every single day till her last. And she did it all wearing a beautiful smile. At times, she would be unable to move due to pain but will smile and play with her son as soon as she hears him.
Mandy loved all and was loved by all. She wanted everyone to be happy. She had an amazing charm and persona with which she made everyone comfortable. During her hospital stays while fighting her disease she would often mention to help raise money for pediatric cancer society when she gets better.
Amanda is survived by her husband of nine years, Atul Khanna; son, Deven Khanna; mother, Holly Hoekstra Sault; father, Jon Sault; brother, Thomas Sault; grandmother, Sharon Hoekstra; grandfather, Richard Hoekstra; uncle, Richard Hoekstra, Jr.; and in-laws, Krishna Khanna and Thakur Khanna.
