Angela (Ginger) Monticello Hawk, 90, of Cary, NC, died Monday, December 24, 2018 at Transitions Lifecare Hospice in Raleigh, NC.

Ginger was born July 7, 1928 in New York to the late Sebastian and Frances Gance Monticello. She was a graduate of Union Endicott High School in Endicott, NY. Ginger worked as a bookkeeper in the insurance industry retiring with over 30 years of service. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed golf and sports of all kinds.

She was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters.

Ginger is survived by her daughter, Kathy Barnack (Michael); sons, Stephen M. Hawk (Veronica) and John F. Hawk; grandchildren, Nikolai Barnack and Natalia Barnack; and nieces, Michaela Bovier and Franciane Shierly; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, January 4, 2018 at Saint Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 625 Magdala Place, Apex, NC 27502.

Memorials may be made to Transitions Lifecare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sebastian and Frances Gance Monticello , ten brothers and sisters.
