

She was born on October 30, 1923, in Bayonne, NJ, to the late Josef Dulik and Joanna Letassy Dulik. A first-generation American, her family proudly descended from Czechoslovakia.
Anna was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Richvalsky, as well as her brothers, John Dulik and Joseph Dulik.
She is survived by her daughter, MaryAnn Richvalsky Gunshefski, and husband Bob Gunshefski, of Apex, NC; her granddaughter, Michelle Gunshefski, of Morrisville, NC; her grandson, Bobby Gunshefski, of Columbia, SC; and a host of extended family and friends in Bayonne, NJ.
A woman of simplicity and humility, Anna lived an active and independent life.
She was an avid bowler for over 40 years with a bowling league in New Jersey and was always on the go—known for her fast pace and energetic spirit.
She found joy in polka music and dancing, attending many polka festivals over the years.
She also loved watching game shows and "The Lawrence Welk Show" and enjoyed playing bingo.
Her faith was important to her, and she was an active member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Bayonne until she moved to North Carolina.
Above all else, Anna cherished her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who found immense joy in her grandchildren—they were the sparkle in her eyes.
Family and friends will gather on Monday, March 17, 2025, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the McIver Center at Apex Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life service will follow at 3:30 p.m., officiated by Father Mike Coveyou.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities or to a charity of your choice.
Anna’s faith-filled life was an inspiration to all who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace in the presence of the Lord.
