Anne Smith Cooper, born Oct.8, 1927 in Laurinburg, NC, died Aug. 23, 2012. Anne is survived by her sister, Betty Smith Sanders of Morrisville, NC; and brother, Earl Ray Smith, Jr. of Polk City, FL; nieces, Carol Sanders Jensen and Robin Smith Callahan; nephews Robert Lynne Smith, Michael Dale Smith, Timothy Marshal Thomas, James Hugh Smith, Jr. and Lewis Smith.
She is predeceased by her parents, Earl Ray and Mabel Stroupe Smith; and brothers, Robert Graham Smith and James Hugh Smith.
There will be a graveside service at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, at 11:00 am on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012.
