Anne Epps Winters 82 of Apex NC passed away on Friday October 9 2026. Anne was born in Greenville SC to the late Eugene and Elizabeth Epps. Anne loved time spent with family and friends. She loved the beach and shagging to beach music with her late husband, Truman Winters, where she spent most of her latter years until moving to Apex to be closer to family. She was content in her recent years with a glass of wine and playing solitaire.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her late husband, Truman Winters; her daughter, Leslie Hayes-Rivet; and brothers, Johnny and Charles Epps.
She is survived by her son, James George and fiance, Robbi Dry; her brother, Danny Epps and wife, Cindy; her grandchildren, Hayden, Johnsie, Tanner and Alex.
Services will be held at Lee Funeral Home in N. Myrtle Beach Saturday, 10/17/2026 at 11 a.m.
