Annie Lois Haithcox

Lois was a homemaker for many years and then worked as a cafeteria worker at Moncure School until she retired. She was actively involved in her church in the years her health would allow and traveling with her family.

Lois is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Haithcox and brother, Gene Hughes.

Surviving are her daughter, Judy Lowery (Teddy); daughter, Sarah Godwin (Eddie); son, John Haithcox (Linda); son, Larry Haithcox; grandchildren: Jason, Adam and Emily; great grandchildren: Hannah and Hailey; and brother, Billy Hughes.

The family would like to thank Terra Bella Assisted Living in Knightdale, NC for their care in the past three years and for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at Truth Missionary Baptist Church, Moncure, NC on Monday, May 4, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 AM at the church. Interment will follow at Merry Oaks Cemetery.
