Antoinette Marie Koytek

Antoinette “Toni” Marie Koytek (Rossi) was born on June 15, 1959 in Sayre, Pennsylvania to the late Mattia and Yolanda (Corsi) Rossi. She passed away on January 16, 2025 after a short battle with cardiac illness.

She held several jobs and in 1999 began working at IBM in Endicott, New York . She worked in IT and was an IT business planner when she retired in 2020. She met her loving husband at IBM and they started dating in 2000. They married in 2001 and enjoyed 23+ wonderful years together. They moved to Apex North Carolina in 2019, built a beautiful home and forged a beautiful life in Apex and the Raleigh area. She held a part-time job at Stylish Living in Apex, NC and valued the wonderful relationships she made with the owners and staff.

She loved to travel, explore new cities, try new restaurants, volunteer, play golf, exercise, and enjoyed bourbon, puzzles and a recent passion for Legos. She volunteered for several community fundraising events. For the last two years she participated in the great cycle challenge to fight kids cancer. She was proud and looking forward to continuing her work as a board member organizing Festa Italiana in Apex. Toni was a passionate and thoughtful person who brought joy to everyone she met.

She is survived by her loving husband, Anthony Koytek, her sisters in-laws, Jeannine Koytek and Marianne Koytek (Dave Smith) her nephew, Nicholas Koytek, and great nephew Nicholas Jr. Her cousins Cathy Corsi and Robert Paulino. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law Henry and Vera Koytek, and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Thomas and Sandra Koytek.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Children's Cancer Research Fund (childrenscancer.org) or the American Heart Association.

The family would like to thank the Doctors, nurses and staff at Wake Med hospital for providing great care to Toni during her brief illness.

Visitation will be held February 1, 2025 at 11 AM followed by a service at 12 PM at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St., Apex, NC.
