Born August 20, 1949, in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Kenneth and Rebecca Parker, Barbara was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed the simple things in life such as playing cards with her friends, reading books, and participating in numerous book clubs, and spoiling her grandchildren. She was known to her family and friends for her thoughtfulness, her ability to be an active and caring listener and to support those in need.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years Larry Armstrong.
Barbara is survived by her children Laura Miller (Paul), Dana Lorichon (Brian), Michael Armstrong (Tracy), and her grandchildren, Emma, Drew, Ava, Isabella, Justin, and Quinton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lungevity.
The family has elected to have a private burial service.
