Barbara Jepsen

Barbara Ann Brimmer Jepsen died on Sunday, September 11, 2011. Barbara was born August 27, 1932 in Washington, D.C. She was the devoted daughter of Earle Baxter and Virgie Butler Brimmer and the proud mother of Lue Anne Jepsen McSwain and Chris Earle Jepsen, and grandmother of Christopher Austin Jepsen. She was predeceased by her parents and brothers, Earle Douglas Brimmer and Donald L. Brimmer, and nephew John Brimmer.

Barbara enjoyed her last years living independently in Apex, close to her surviving family, Lue Anne and husband Mike, Chris, Christopher, and her sister Betty Lou Tucker. She is also survived by beloved nephews and nieces in several states, and friends from everywhere she lived and worked.

Charitable contributions in her memory would be appreciated to the SPCA of Wake County, NC or to Apex United Methodist Church Senior Adult Ministries.

A visitation will be from 2:00pm to 3:00pm Friday, September 16, 2011, followed by a memorial service at 3:00pm, at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St., Apex, NC.
