Bobby Graham Sykes

Bobby was born August 31, 1935 in Wake County to the late Ruth Lassiter and Phillip Sykes. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family at the Lake Gaston Americamps campground.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joann Sykes; sons, Van Sykes and Tracy Sykes (Lori); brother, Phil Sykes; and sister, Peggy Stevenson.

He is survived by his daughter, Kim Draper; son, Neal Sykes (Stephanie); daughter-in-law, Mari Sykes; brothers, Tommy Sykes (Linda), Roy Sykes (Joy) and David Sykes (Tess); nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 11am Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Apex Funeral Home Chapel, 550 W. Williams St., Apex, NC 27502. Burial will follow the service at Green Level Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8pm Friday, January 4, 2019 at the funeral home.
