Brenda worked at IBM for almost 30 years.
Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Otha Gooch, and her brother, Matthew Gooch.
She is survived by her sons, Nathan Feeney and wife, Andrea Baker, and Adrian Feeney; her mother, Peggy Riggsbee Gooch; brothers, Timothy Gooch (Sherry), Phillip Gooch (Connie), and Anthony Gooch; two grandchildren, Breanna and Skyler Feeney; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Apex Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the home of Nathan and Andrea Feeney following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Brenda’s name may be made to the Duke Cancer Fund.
