  Only worked together for a few months on the Frank Knox and he showed me a lot. Made  lasting impression and wish we could have gotten together again later in life.

I knew Chuck first through work... he was the best manager I've ever had.    He was always looking after "his" people that he managed... supportive, loyal, and always trying to further their careers over his own interests. He always had your back and that just made you want to work harder for him and never let him down.

But more importantly, I came to know him as a good friend. Chuck taught us all how to live life, embracing it all, good and bad, and showing us how one's attitude and resolve makes all the difference in the world, and sets into motion an example that we can all aspire to. 

I love Chuck Tripp.  I will sorely miss his company and him calling me "Danny boy..." ... and then smiling and laughing.  At the Pearly Gates, I'm guessing St. Peter had a beautiful new Corvette waiting for him.... that brings a smile to my face.

May God bless and keep in his arms Chuck and all the Tripp family.

Chuck was always fun to be around and he had such a "gravelly" laugh.  We have many fond memories of trips we made with him and others in his van to quite a few State games.  He will be greatly missed.  We pray for comfort for the family.

I am so sorry to learn of your loss.  Buddy, I know you were very close to your dad.  It is very clear from the way you speak of him and post wonderful things and pictures about him.  I know he was (and always will be) your hero.  It speaks very well of a man when his grown children continue to look up to him.
