I worked with Clarence for many years at RTI.

He was a wonderful person, caring, helpful, always willing to listen. 

For many years he was the social center of the building.  He would make popcorn in the afternoon, the scent leading everyone in the building to pass through his office sometime during the day.  

He will be missed.

I will miss you Uncle Jr.... Uncle Jr. and I shared the same name (Clarence) and the same birthday of August 25. We would do lunch together on our birthday. I'm really going to miss that. I love you Uncle Jr.

I had the privilege of working with Clarence at RTI. He was positive, patient, and extremely generous with his time, insight, and advice. I pass along my heartfelt sympathy to Clarence's family and friends.

Clarence was the programmer on several of the studies I worked on when I first joined RTI in 1974. We worked together off and on until his retirement.  I will always remember his smile, his dedication to his work, and his sage advice. He will truly be missed.  My deepest sympathy extends to his family and friends.

I worked with Clarence at RTI; I was a young economist, learning my way around SAS programming and RTI's systems. Clarence was always kind and helpful, generous with his time and experience. He was a delightful gentleman, and I send my deepest sympathies to all his friends and loved ones.

I will always remember Mr. Dillard as a very kind and generous man, who went out of his way to help people - even those that he didn't know well.  I will forever be grateful for the kindness and encouragement that he showed me over the years.  He very patiently shared his rich knowledge and experience with me and others, and I will very much miss his his advice and understanding of life, the world, culture, and history.

He gave many people a future and hope by helping them in their personal lives in very practical ways.  He walked the walk in life with warmth and a smile. He will be missed very much, but never forgotten.  Khodahfez my dear friend.  I hope we will meet again one day.

I am so sorry for your loss.  Junior had recently been online with us  (extended family) about a spring reunion. I was looking forward to seeing you all at that time.  I hate that reunion did not work out.
