It is hard to put into words what we are feeling right now because we loved him beyond words. Even though he was taken from us way too soon, his devotion to us and the life lessons he taught us will stay with us for the rest of our lives. When we feel sad, we will just think of his smile, his wittiness and all of the happy times we had.
Anyone who knew Darren knows how hard he fought for 3 years in his battle against cancer. He faced every bad test result, every surgery and every treatment with strength, dignity and even humor. He never complained. His only sadness and worries were for us and for what he would miss. He made us proud!
He faithfully believed that God used him and his illness as an opportunity to open people's eyes to the grace and comfort that God will provide
Rest in peace Darren.
