Dona was born on April 5, 1921 in Henderson County, NC to the late John and Jennedie Wright. She was a kind, sweet lady who was always in good spirits and never said anything bad. She loved more than anything being a mother and a grandmother. She also enjoyed cooking and sharing recipes with her friends and neighbors. Dona shared her faith with Apex United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, Dona is preceded in death by her husband, William “Earl” Bell; son, Benny Bell; and sister, Helen Drake. She is survived by her son, Edwin “Eddie” Bell, his wife Dawn and grandson, Travis Bell.
