Doris loved music and until very recently she performed with the Peak City Singers, a 55+ group sponsored by the Town of Apex, NC. She was an avid knitter and none of us lacked for sweaters, afghans, and Christmas stockings. Many newborn babies at Wake Med Hospital in Cary, NC have been blessed with a beautiful hat.
Doris also loved to read and passed this love on to her granddaughters and great granddaughters. She had a green thumb when it came to African violets and all her windows were lined with beautiful flowering plants. Family time was very important to Doris. She loved to go on outings, enjoyed family gatherings at family dinners, birthday celebrations, holidays, and even spending some quiet time having tea and conversation with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Doris is survived by her daughters, Cheri Bramley (Peter) of Apex, NC and Cyndi Dickens (Sean) of West Melbourne, FL.; grandchildren, Jennifer Ksiazak (Mike) of Sanford, NC, Scott Bramley (Meredith) of Winabow, NC, Gayle Kleinschnitz and Travis Dickens of West Melbourne, FL; great grandchildren, Gabe, Dillon, Penny, Kylee, Bailey, Audrie, and James.
