I never thought I would have to say goodbye to you in this way, how different everything would be if things had happened differently. It's so hard for me to accept that you're not here anymore. I will never forget the great person you were. You were my friend and my boss and you believed in me from the beginning, I told you I don't speak English and you said you speak enough to be a crew leader. Right now I have my mind full of indelible memories of the good times we shared together that will be marked with a footprint that not even death can erase.

To Candice, Hatidza and Dino, my deepest sympathies.
I met Emir through Clark, he was my first supervisor and made me feel welcomed. We had a special bond; for me, he will always be my Bosnian brother. Because of his kindness and concern I was introduced to his beautiful Candice, sweet Hatidza and little brother Dino and his extended family. All welcomed me as one of their own. The news of his passing shattered my heart and leaves me numb. I apologize for not being in America to pay my respect to my family in pain but, my love will always be available to the family. We will meet again Emir, missing you deeply. I love you mama Hatidza.

My heart sunk when I heard and my deepest sympathies go out to his wife and family. I worked with Emir for 4 years and found him to be a professional and kind man. He was a hard worker and he will be missed.

I pray that his family may move forward and heal, but never forget.

"Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." John 5:28,29

"Praised be the God and Father of our Load Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God." 2 Corinthians 1:3,4

Dino, Hatidza , Candice:

I too am stunned and grief stricken .
Emir has made so much of his life ( coming here in 2000 and not speaking English, )I believe he lived life as we are called to do: live every day to the fullest .
From being such a presence and support for his mom and brother, for working his way up at Clark Paving.
The American dream: a better life , where he worked , married , bought a house. A life cut way too short .
Candice: my heart breaks for you, as you two were an awesome couple.
RIP, Emir.

Thoughts and prayers go out to Emir's family and friends. This is a terrible loss and my heart goes out to everyone who knew him.
I had the pleasure of working with him for a couple of years and he was a great guy. He was always helpful and would lend a hand to anyone.
Rest in peace.

My heart goes out to Emir's family. Emir was genuinely a real nice guy and his passing has left a huge hole in all of our hearts here at Clark. I had the pleasure of working with Emir for over 11 years and I'm going to miss his happy go lucky personality, he was so much fun to work with.
I will never forget this beautiful soul, rest in peace my friend.
