Fallon McDaniel Morga, 41, of Holly Springs, NC, unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023.
She had such a fun and joyful personality. She was loved by all and she will be terribly missed.
Fallon is survived by her loving family, including her husband of 17 years, Jesse Morga, her parents, Lynn and Stewart McDaniel, her sister, Erin (Tim) Catlett, niece and nephew, Campbell and Coleman Catlett, her brothers-in-law, Steve (Suzanne) and Tony Morga, niece, Rebecca Morga, and in-laws, Alice and Del Morga. She also leaves her cousins, PB (Candice) Horsey and Leigh Anne (Patrick) Costello and their families, and Natalie (Ryan) Ifft. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Paul and Mary Ann Horsey and Steward and Anna Mae McDaniel, and uncles, Paul B. Horsey Jr., Steve McDaniel, and Alan McDaniel.
She grew up in Warrenton, VA and graduated from Fauquier High School where she played basketball and softball, as well as AAU basketball and travel fast pitch softball. She was an Ambassador for the March of Dimes and active in Young Life. She graduated from Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, SC with a travel and tourism degree. Fallon loved to travel, especially their trips to “Florida Beach” and making many memories at Universal Studios in Orlando. She loved to attend live sporting events at all levels with her husband Jesse including NASCAR (big Dale Jr. fans), Durham Bulls, Daytona Cubbies/Tortugas, Carolina Mudcats, and the University of South Carolina Gamecocks. She also loved to attend her niece and nephew’s events, activities, and sports. She loved Kenny Chesney and Darius Rucker and has seen both of them live in concert many times.
A Memorial Service for Fallon will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 1:30pm at Apex United Methodist Church in Apex, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Fallon’s name can be made to the March of Dimes (www.marchofdimes.org/donate).
