Gertrude Eleanor Lilley

Gertrude Eleanor Lilley was 84 years old and went to her home in heaven on Tuesday, September 2, at Spring Arbor Assisted Living Facility located in Apex, NC.

Affectionately known as “Gert” she was born January 13, 1941 in Philadelphia Pa. She was a hard-working single parent, employed with Hygrade Food Products…. (the hot dogs that plump when you cook em) later became Sarah Lee and retired. She enjoyed, sports, swimming, dancing (in heels) , Double Dutch (in heels), cooking and having fun and enjoying life.

Gert leaves behind with cherished memories, William Jerry Finch III (deceased), her devoted son Pastor Rodney J. Finch, her daughter-in-love Elvira Finch. Grand Children: Sequita Finch-McLaurin, Rodney J. Finch Jr, Shannel Elyse Campbell, William Jerry IV. Great Grand-Children, Christian Finch, Chelan McLaurin, Cennedy McLaurin, Lucy Finch, Rodney J. Finch III, Remy Finch, Erik Campbell Jr. Lucas Bobby Campbell. Grandson-in-Law: Erik Campbell Sr. Joe McLaurin and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends who loved her and will truly miss her.

The family of Gertrude Lilley would like to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation for the outpouring of love, prayers and expressions of sympathy
