Gladys Teresa Zapata

Gladys was born on February 21, 1944 in Maya Guez, Puerto Rico to the late Frank Millan and Sara Ithier Millan. She had fun playing slots at casinos and loved to plant and garden as she had an amazing green thumb. Gladys delighted in going out to eat breakfast but also enjoyed cooking a big delicious meal for her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Millan and her sister, Hilda Millan Ford.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa McCann and her husband, Peter; daughter, Nina Davidson and her husband, Daniel; and grandchildren, Sean McCann, Daniel McCann, Sarah Davidson and Joshua Davidson. She lived for her grandchildren and was the best Nana in the world!

Family will receive friends and guests on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Andrew the Roman Catholic Church. She will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram, NY.
