Gregory Scott Gillespie, 54, of Holly Springs died Tuesday, January 7, 2014. He was born on November 13, 1959 in Butler, PA to Richard Scott Gillespie and Nancy May Oczypok Gillespie. He was a graduate of Grove City College in 1982. He was employed with Intel Corporation for 26 years. Greg will be remembered for his devotion to his family and his passion for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Rachel Gillespie; sons: Scott Nolin Gillespie and Ryan Michael Gillespie; daughter: Erin Elizabeth Gillespie; brother: Brian Richard Gillespie and wife Heidi of Allison Park Pa; and sister: Lauran Archer and husband Greg of Apex.
A celebration of his life will be 11:00 am Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Sunrise United Methodist Church, 5420 Sunset Lake Rd. Holly Springs, NC 27540.
