It's 2:05 on Wed, July 18th. I am in prayer for Aunt Helen and her family. I will always remember her laugh. It came easily and from the heart. I have so many other happy memories of growing up with all of our wonderful extended family. Bill, Bob, & Dottie - your mom was so special at hosting family get togethers, providing a place to get warm when we were waiting for the school bus when it was freezing outside, and always ready with a smile and kind word when a nephew had a question. I will miss her but I also rejoice in the knowledge that she is truely home now.

To my Dearest Cousins; Bill, Brucey and Dotti - You and your families continue to be in my thoughts and prayers! It's comforting to know that she is now at peace and at Home with her Lord while having been welcomed from those who passed before her.

What a beautiful array of pictures over the years of Aunt Helen. That smile of hers never changed.

I remember so many wonderful get-togethers at the house on Bonnyvale Road for picnics and Christmas Eve. I came across a picture of Aunt Helen and Mom, laughing with large spade-shaped fans I'd given them as a joke gift many, many years ago. How lucky we all were to grow up together for the most part and have such wonderful times.

And yes, that twinkle in her eye never knowing what she might come out and say or do! She was a special aunt and truly great person. I am so glad Mom, Donna and I were able to go see her back in 2003 for a week. What fond thoughts came to mind as I watched Aunt Helen and Mom "puttering" on her back patio with her plants.

Take care! Love you and miss you all!!

Thank you for calling and sharing the sad news of the loss of your mother, Helen Catherine. As your distant cousins we enjoyed a yearly correspondence with Helen. It was so interesting to see the video of all her family and the obvious pride she had in each of you. We pray that all those good memories will be of comfort to you. Please stay in touch. Love,

Our fondest memory of Helen was her ready laughter, accompanied by the twinkling eyes that missed nothing. She was a great, no-nonsense woman -a meaningful presence and unafraid to speak her sharp mind. She was a joy!

To our good friends and great neighbors, Bill and Barbara and the entire Wilson family, Cynthia and I wish to express our deepest sympathy in the loss of Helen. She was blessed with a loving family and appeared in her photos to be taking in family and life at the fullest. Our thoughts and prayers are for you all in your loss and we take comfort in knowing that Helen is with Jesus in peace and surrounded by her loved ones that have preceded her.

May her memory be eternal. We know that in her own special way, she has left each person better in many ways for having known and loved her. What a wonderful legacy.

Although I only got to meet Barb's Aunt Helen once, we spoke many times over the phone, and I enjoyed each and every conversation I had with her. She was a lady with class, and I will always remember her smile and great sense of humor. Today, after hearing of her passing, I'd like to share the following quote from Dr. Seuss with regard to her life: "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." R.I.P., Aunt Helen.

To my cousins Bill, Bob and Dotti - Your mom was a wonderful lady who holds a special place deep in my heart. You should all be so proud to be her children, as she was so proud to be your mom. My thoughts and prayers will continue to be with you always. I love all of you.
