I am so sorry for your loss. Tink was loved by so many - especially by his Aunt Ruby. I suspect he is mowing grass for her as I'm writing this. Actually, they are probably mowing together with Uncle John. Please let me know if I can do anything for you.

Mr. Clayton will be missed. He had a sense of humor and lighthearted spirit that were one of a kind. Condolences to the family.

Tink buddy I am really going to miss you. All those times you looked at me and said…Hey lookey!!  And that time I got into a car chase from Apex into Chatham Co  and you were telling me on the radio  what roads I was on and where the sharp curves were!! Thank you for the great memories!! Rest easy friend.

So sorry to hear of Tink passing. I was so blessed to work at the Police Department with him. He will be missed. Prayers to the family. 


I was blessed to have spent many hours working  fishing and just hanging out with Tink. I've never met anyone with a better sense of humor. He had the ability to find the humor in any situation. He will be sorely missed. Thank you Tink for bringing so much joy into my life. 

When I heard the news of Tink's passing so many wonderful memories of him came to mind, he had that personality and sense of humor that you didn't soon forget. I always enjoyed working and talking with Tink. Praying for his family and all who knew him.

Tink was always so nice and also had a great sense of humor that people either loved or not. He knew so much about the areas EMS went to that he would be able to give physical landmarks to find the locations. He'd say "look for the red mailbox" or "there's a sharp curve" which was so helpful in some of the areas. He is someone that will always be remembered and missed.  Heaven has definitely gained an angel. 

Tink was a good friend and coworker. I still remember the first time i met him up at crosswinds marina. He had a special wit about him that you had to love or hate. He was a dedicated employee for us at Apex PD and never complained when ever he was called in while being off. He was the type of person that would do anything he could to help you in any situation you might have. Heaven has gained a Angel. Take care my friend 

"Tink" had a personality larger than life...similar to Justin Wilson, or Jerry Clower.   I could never get enough of it, and always enjoyed anytime I got to talk with him.   I deeply regret how long it's been since we've done that...and will miss him greatly.

Sorry to hear about Tink's passing.  He was a good friend and coworker.  I enjoyed talking with him during our years working together.  He was a person that would do what ever he could to help others.  He will be missed!

I’m so sorry for the loss of Tink , he was a kind, generous, and loving man. The world is darker  place without him. He was always willing to help anyone   I was blessed to call him my friend and I loved him.
