James Michael Roddick, 29, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2015 following an accident on his motorcycle. He was born on April 10, 1986 in Milwaukee, WI. He graduated from East Wake High School in Knightdale, Class of 2004 and MMI in Orlando, Florida to be a motorcycle mechanic. Most recently, he was employed with Bombar’s Beemers in Durham.
James was the beloved husband of Colleen Haney Roddick, of Apex; son of Michael and Reneé Tew Roddick, of Knightdale; brother of Matthew L. Roddick and wife, Johanna, of Clayton; uncle of Kylee and Ethan Roddick; son-in-law of Chris Haney, of Cary; and friend to many, including his faithful dogs: Bear and Ginger.
A Celebration of James’s Life will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 3 PM at Apex Funeral Home, with family to receive friends following the service.
