James, a native of Akron, OH, was born on May 14, 1946. He retired from Goodyear at the age of 55 and enjoyed spending time on his sailboat in Sandusky, Ohio. Prior to his employment he briefly served in the Army.
He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Tirbovich and Stacy McClain. He is also survived by his three grandchildren.
