Jean was born in Morrisville, NC on February 26, 1953 to the late Milton and Ruby Watkins. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Smith and her brother, Milton Watkins Jr.
She will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Betty McGuire (Robert); brother, Bobby Watkins (Patricia); nieces, Tammy Smith and Lisa Wilmarth (Paul); nephews, Bobby Watkins Jr. and Dewayne Sessoms; sister-in-law, Phyllis Watkins; and brother-in-law, Robert Smith.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Airport Blvd Cemetery in Morrisville, NC. Family will receive friends and guests on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Apex Funeral Home.
