This news brings sadness and joy to my heart. Mr. John was indeed a very special person who shed the gift of light on everyone he met. I had the pleasure of working for the company and with a great man of God. He will truly be missed, and his smile brightened the darkest days. To the family, my condolences and my heartfelt prayers go out to you. I know the loss of your father, husband, friend, and confidant will live on forever in your hearts. Just know he is where we all strive to be one day. Live on in peace, Mr. John.

So sorry to hear about John.. We go back to the 70s..Long time friend' I retired and have been sick for years now. I think of John
often I really enjoyed working with John for years..contracts with Myrtle Beach AFB.. as well as many other matters. Great Man!!!

John was always so generous with his season tickets to the Carolina Hurricanes! He is the reason we became Caniacs, even with moving to Florida! My sincere condolences to his family!

To the Potts Family, I extend my sincere condolences as well as to The American Relocation and Lawrence Transportation Family. Mr. Potts was the Best Boss, Mentor and Friend that anyone could have.  He believed in me even when I gave up on myself,  he continued to encourage me. Mr Potts told me I was better than what I had allowed myself to become and that He expected more of me.  He earned my respect,  admiration and love.  He was Truly one of the Greatest and will be missed dearly.

My deepest condolences to the Potts family. I truly enjoyed getting to know and work with John. He was a man of integrity, and you could always count on him to get the job done for his customers and yours. As a man of faith, I know he has a place in heaven, where he will be watching over his family and all those he touched.

My deepest condolences to Paula and the entire family. 
 I started with John at Lawrence Transportation in 1992. I fell in love with the moving industry and moved around with other movers but eventually came back to work for John at All American where I worked for 12 more years.  He led by example . John was a good man and taught me a lot. 
Fly high with the Angels John, until we meet again.

I smile thinking about John, dancing with the angels with no more sickness and no more pain. John now has a whole body rejoicing with Jesus.
Paula, you have been by John’s side as he has fought through every physical set back and to the end you have been faithful. Your tender care and support to John  is a true testimony of God’s love  witnessed by your family, your friends and everyone you touched. May Our Savior and Lord hold your tightly as you press forward shining the Love of Jesus.

I met John at Lawrence Transportation System. He gave me the opportunity to  work in the moving industry to become a Truck Driver who he put me under Andy Saunders. I remember when he would get us together to pitch quarters and play man or mouse lol.  Jason would ait in his dad's lap acut the grass with the riding mower. When John told us he was going over to Mayflower to purchase his own company we went right with him. I also moved John and Paula in there new house, Mrs Paula whipped us her famous homemade hamburgers. John I would like to say Thank You . Rest Easy .

I want to express my deepest sorrow for the passing of someone who was more than a boss.  He was a mentor and friend. My deepest condolences to his entire family and friends. Mr. John was a great person, always cracking jokes that made us laugh, always dedicated to his company, and always ensuring that we felt as if All American was our second home. I will never forget that, up until the day I decided to resign and retire from the company, he was there and thanked me for my work as an employee of the company. Thank you for everything, and rest in peace John Potts.

A friend, a co worker and a great boss who will be missed but not forgotten. He taught us patience and kindness for all mankind. My condolences to his family and others who knew Mr. Potts as we knew him. It is too our lost of a great man and mentor. Thanks for all he gave us.

Thank you GOD for granting me the pleasure to work for and work beside one of his most wonderful soldiers in Christ. A true blessing to me and my family. The worst times of my life John supported me in many ways, but the best way is to show up and not just talk about it, but show up and be about it. I will never ever forget his loving kindness or forget my memories we shared  . Rest in peace my friend, one of the best people that a man or woman could work for. I love you from the bottom of my heart. My family is forever grateful to you and your family. Thank You !🙏

I’ll remember John as a southern gentleman, gracious, generous, and accommodating.  He loved and took pride in his children and grandchildren, and his wife and life partner, Paula.
John built a successful business and had many employees whom he treated most fairly.  He worked very hard but also knew how to enjoy life and was well traveled.
I truly believe that John is with his Savior, in whom he placed his trust.  I pray that that knowledge will give some degree comfort to his grieving family and friends.
