Ron was born October 9, 1946 in Greencastle, IN to the late Joe and Marie Ellis. He was a proud Vietnam War veteran of the US Air Force and loved wearing his veteran’s hat for all to see. Ron and his wife Patricia were strong believers in Jesus and when able, attended Triangle Community Church, in Apex, NC.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 51 years, Patricia “Pat” Ellis.
Joseph was a loving father of four; Kim Hobgood, Christopher Ellis, Kerri Froeschner, and Ronnie Ellis. He was dearly loved by his grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held 11am Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Wake Chapel Memorial Gardens, 905 Wake Chapel Rd, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.
