Joseph Delvin Raley

Joseph Delvin Raley, 56, of Apex died Saturday, September 18, 2010 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Delvin was born on February 5, 1954 to Joseph Henry Raley and Fanita Keen Raley in Columbia, SC.

He was a graduate of Cary High School. Delvin loved the outdoors, fishing, and camping. He was a very kind and caring person. Delvin was a great Father and loving Husband. He had a passion for playing the guitar and singing. In the early ’80 he was a member of a musical duo.

He is survived by his wife, Tina A. Raley; daughter, Jayna L. Raley of Fayetteville; son, Austin K. Raley of Apex; brother, Bill Raley and wife Gayle of Raleigh; sisters, Debbie and Bill Cowart of Longs, SC, and Linda and Dwight Bouknight of Columbia, SC. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 pm Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St. Apex. A memorial service will begin at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of Apex Funeral Home.
