Born February 27, 1958, Joe was a long time Apex resident and affectionately
known as the “Tomato Man” for his delicious home grown tomatoes.
Past president of the Cary Farmers Market and a loyal Carolina Tarheel fan, Joe will be missed by his family and friends.
Preceded in death by his father, Jack S. Woodell, Joe is survived by his mother, Judith Tingen Woodell; brother Jimmie Woodell(Nicole); and sisters Cyndy Lovic(Mitchell);Cathie Pendergraft(George); Carol Woodell; Chris Young(Paul).
Also surviving are his companion, Susan Pickens Harrod and 20 nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Joe will planned for a later date at the families request.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a charitable organization of choice that honors your relationship with Joe and his family.
