Joshua was born September 27, 1984 in Landstuhl, Germany. He attended Cary High School and transferred his senior year to Clayton High School where he graduated. Joshua made his living as a Staffing Coordinator for Den Temps of Raleigh, and in his spare time, lived for music. He loved to play the drums. Some knew him as a free spirit, out to laugh in the face of the world. Others knew him as a quiet philosopher, surrounded by books and absorbed in ideas. But the lucky few knew him as simply "brother."
Joshua was preceded in death by his nephew Andrew, his Uncle Larry Stroer and his grandmother Ann Stroer.
He is survived by his father, Patrick Rocker; twin sister, Patricia-Ann Rocker; sister, Jasmine Rocker; brother, Alan Rocker and wife, Jean Jarrett; brother, Jason Rocker; grandmother, Ronna Rocker; grandfather, Peter Rocker; several nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
