Kenneth Roger Broll

Kenneth Roger Broll, 87, passed away peacefully at home on August 10, 2026. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years, Vivian Broll. Born on January 10, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Oscar Broll and Eleanor Wagner. Ken was known for his warm heart, easy smile and gentle spirit.

Ken was a man who took pride in working with his hands. He could spend hours tending to his yard or working in the garden, where he grew vegetables for Viv. In earlier years, he enjoyed restoring old furniture, bringing worn pieces back to life and making them look as good as new.

Ken was meticulous in everything he did. He believed in doing things the right way and took great care with even the smallest details. He gave each task his full attention and left very little to chance.

Ken was a devout Catholic, and his faith and love for the Church were a source of strength and comfort throughout his life. He was a caring presence in the lives of the people who loved him. His quiet nature and thoughtful way of doing things left an impression that will remain with his family and friends for years to come.

In addition to his parents and loving wife, Ken is preceded in death by his brother Ron Broll and sister Lois Broll.

He is survived by his loving children Frank and Jason. Grandchildren Ashley, Dylan, Nicholas, Natalie and Davis. Great Grandchildren Carsynn and Kasey.

Service will be held on August 20, 2026 with a Rosary at 10:30 and Mass at 11:00 at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church 625 Magdala Pl, Apex, NC 27502

In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
