Lawrence "Larry" Ralston Hutchens

Larry was born February 20, 1930 in Oklahoma City, OK to the late Paul Matthew Hutchens and Laura Belle Scott Hutchens. He was a Korean War veteran of the US Navy and was plant engineer for Cooper Tools in Apex retiring with over 25 years of service. Larry was a member of the Apex Masonic Lodge #584 and the Cary #366 OES for 50 years. He was a true outdoorsman.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, William Hogan Teem.

Lawrence is survived by his wife, Maxine D. Hutchens; son, Robert Hutchens of Cary; daughters, Allyson Teem (David) of Clayton, and Kelly Nicholson (Jamie) of Raleigh; sister, Gertrude Worsham of Lewisburg, WV; grandchildren, Dustin Hutchens of Raleigh, Tanner Hutchens (Renee) of Lansing, MI, Bridget Newman of Raleigh, Jessica Parrish (Steven) of Raleigh; and two great great grandchildren, Alex and Lauren.

A graveside service will be held 11am Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery, Crooked Fork Rd, Gassaway, WV. The family will receive friends 4-6pm Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St., Apex, NC 27502.
